The cause
Authentic African Works is here not just to make sales. We are here for a cause. And that cause is to see a change in our community. There are many refugee youths in Kyaka 2, our main location, who possess skills in crafting but are unable to gain from them regardless. We come in to ensure that they source livelihood from, and improve, their skills. In so doing, they can, later, create their own businesses and hence create employment for many other refugee youths. This, we like to call, the Ripple Effect.
